Dear VCS and the regional council 

hi my name is Manawa  and I'm writing to you gise why I think we need a bird zoo and  I hope you like it 

These are my three reasons why I think that we need a bird zoo. 

The first reason is to learn. In my school, there are two rooms that link together with birds one of them is manu and that stands for birds the other one is there and that is the bush. So when schools want to go and learn about birds they can go to the bird zoo. They can learn about all the native birds and what they live in and what they hunt for. 

My send reason is money 

It costs a lot of money to buy the poussin from china. Then shipping it over here if we get a 

bird zoo. We can save some more money. By not putting hepes of poussin out because all the native birds are in the bird zoo

This I my the last reason why I think we need a bird zoo 

if we  had a bird zoo I think it should be outside because if they were stuck in one little box by them sothle then it would get boring for them so the birds can fly around and hunt their prey like what they would do out in the willed and they don't have to rely on use to give them their food

hi for the past week my class had to pick something that they want in Greymouth so I picked a bird zoo because I like birds and on the west coast we have kiwis and kea weka and there

The bark had begun to peel away, one piece at a time, joining the wreckage of other trees that lay scattered across the scorched earth. This tree was different to the other trees. It contained magic. It contained hope… to find all the secrets of the universe to know what it is and why it has came to earth what happened to all the other trees on earth now we know what to do to save all the ather trees but we need all the help That we can do Can you continue the story? What is so different about this tree? What has happened to the other trees around it? They have all snapet and fallin down to the ground Question time! What do you think has caused the destruction all around the tree? Someone went to the moon and found the moon seed and planted it on earth? Why has this one tree survived because it is a space tree ? If you walked through the portal, what would happen to you? What would you see? The universe If this is a portal to another world, would you go through it or stay on Earth, even if you had no idea what could happen? Is it good to take risks? Are some risks riskier than others? Sentence challenge! A preposition is a word that shows the relationship between one thing and another. It may tell you where a thing is in relation to something else. E.g. A New World Story starter! The grass is disappearing... The lonely, pleading trees and plants are vanishing... Wildlife all around me is reluctantly surrendering to a new enemy. Nature is being consumed. My friends are leaving. Soon it will be my turn. Farmers are farming we are all packing are bags ready to leave Everybody Who/what do you think is saying these things? I often see people walking past, casually picking a leaf from my branches not even thinking about what they are doing. I've heard stories of people chopping down trees by the thousand. I've heard stories of whole mountains of rubbish; towers of unwanted waste that nobody knows what to do with. I'm not sure people truly understand the consequences of all their actions, of all these new towns and cities. You could even do a newspaper report about how humans are destroying the planet. It makes me sad. My friends and I might not be around forever. Does anyone care? Question time! Do you think technology is a good thing or a bad thing? today we had spent 1 hour on facts about pi  there were so many facts about pi it was fun to know about pi aspeshle because we had been learning about it for 2 weeks this is how I did it today I seach on google and made a google docs why have we been doing this becase we have been digging more into civil

for the last 2 days  my class has been doing shapes and circle this how we did it  today we had to get a 30 cm ruler and a long piece of string then you measure how long your object is then you take the string and put it around the object  and there you go 

 

fishing £ hunting My weekend sports start at haarst I am 10 years old fisherman and I like to catch blue cod and snapper When ever we go to the bay or the island or toilet rock I always go in for a dive and catch paua kina and crayfish get mussels and after my dive we set are crayfish traps and then we go away for akaple hours and get are fish then go home and when dad is cutting the fish I go and feed the ducks there was a mother duck that made 8 ather ducks and then tey made afamily and I always feed her first because she is slow and old so she cant fly or run then we have are tea and go to bed then in the morning we go back out to sea and cheek are trap 

this is a sport that I do on the weekend I had to do 1 thinig on the blog contrakt and i did what is your  sport on the weekend
